About Us:

The GSRP is a non-profit summer day recreation program offered to Groveland children who will be entering Grades 1-7 in August of 2009.  We are located at the Dr. Elmer S. Bagnall Elementary School.  Program enrollment takes place online beginning on February 1, 2009 and continues until all spaces are full.

Office hours during the program are 8:15am - 4:00pm. 

(children are present from 8:30am-3:30pm )

All visitors to the program MUST check-in at the front table.

Director:  Matthew Castonguay (Mr. C.) -  (email Mr. C. here)   

This is Mr. Castonguay's fifth year as Director of the GSRP.  Prior to that, he worked as a couselor for the program.  Mr. Castonguay is a Massachusetts Certified Teacher and during the school year teaches fifth grade.  For five years, Mr. Castonguay worked at the Bagnall School as a a substitute teacher, in the after school program, and was also involved with the after school intramurals program.  Mr. C. also works part time in the promotions department for the Boston Bruins.

Assistant Director:  Lisa Stevens -          

This is Mrs. Stevens' fifth year as Assistant Director of the GSRP.  For the two prior summers, she assisted in the day-to-day operations of the summer program.  During the school year, you will find Mrs. Stevens working at Bagnall School as an ESP.   Outiside of school,  Mrs. Stevens continues to keep extremely busy by running her church's youth group.

Assistant Director & CIT Program Coordinator:  Kathy Meltsakos -

This is Mrs. Meltsakos' fourth year as Assistant Director and CIT Program Coordinator of the GSRP.  For the two prior summers of the program, she was a sixth grade counselor.  As a long time Groveland resident, Mrs. Meltsakos is deeply involved with Groveland and Pentucket Youth Sports, especially soccer.  Mrs. Meltsakos was an ESP at Bagnall School for several years before moving to Pentucket High School.
